That's the Flavour

THE YIROS SHOP

A multi-channel campaign built to draw the line between the fresh menu at The Yiros Shop and the late night kebab stand.

THE CLIENT

The Yiros Shop is a family-owned Greek street food brand that's grown from a single shop into a fast-expanding franchise across Queensland. A decade in, the menu still runs on the same traditional recipes, the same flame-grilled meats and the same founding family in the kitchen.

THE CHALLENGE

For ten years, customers had been mistaking The Yiros Shop for something it isn't. Fresh, premium yiros kept getting filed alongside the late-night kebab shops next door. The food was doing the work. The perception wasn't keeping up. The brief was to shift that across a content suite that could run hard online and in-store.

THE SOLUTION

We built a campaign around the contrast itself. Dim, greasy late night memories on one side. Bright, fast, freshly flame grilled kitchens on the other. Founder Nick fronted the educational content to give it a sense of charm direct from the family man himself. Pyrotechnics, macro lenses, and gravity defying skewer rigs gave the food a visual register most QSR brands never reach for. The result was a multichannel suite that said Yiros, not kebab, in every frame.

“We’re impressed with the family-focused video concept. It really resonated with our values and vision. We deeply appreciate your creativity and expertise”

CHPTR 02 Points of Interest

BUILT ON CONTRAST

The hero spot lives or dies on a single visual idea. Late-night kebab shop on one side, all dim light and stillness. The Yiros Shop on the other, bright, fast, alive. Cut between them quickly enough and the audience does the categorisation work themselves. The script reinforces it. Nick's delivery makes it land.

The educational content sat alongside the hero piece and did the slower work. Founder on camera, talking through what makes YTS different, in a way that felt like a conversation rather than a lecture. The two registers worked together. The hero piece changed how people felt about the brand. The education changed what they knew about it.

CHPTR 03 Project Delivery

In Partnership with World-Class Post Production

This campaign was a true end-to-end collaboration with 3P Group. 3P originated the client relationship and brought ShareStory in to lead creative direction and production. From there, their specialist divisions handled post: voiceover, edit, and animation. The result carries both teams' fingerprints. Two studios, one campaign, a shared standard for what The Yiros Shop should feel like in 2025 and beyond.

CHPTR 04 Behind the Scenes

How We Created the Yiros Shop Flavour...

The shoot was where the energy of the brand had to come through. Pyrotechnics on the grill, sauces dripping in slow motion, skewers spinning in gravity-defying close-ups. Macro cinematography and experimental rigs that pushed yiros to a register most quick-service brands don't reach for.

Every setup was meticulously planned and then slightly experimental. Once we hit the kitchen the crew pushed it one degree further on set to see what happened. There were more props eaten than the budget accounted for. But that's just what it took, we guess?
